Ryan Kent says he never lost hope of returning to Rangers after sealing his long-awaited move back to Ibrox.
The 22-year-old winger joined the Scottish key31271 Premiership side key31266 for a fee of £7mllion on Monday after they finally thrashed out an agreement with Liverpool.

AdvertisementKent spent a successful spell on loan at Rangers last season and had been waiting for the green light to rejoin Steven Gerrard’s side all summer.
“I am delighted to be back here, it has been a quite a long summer, a lot of things could have potentially happened but I am delighted to be here,” he told Rangers TV.
“I never lost hope, there were probably moments when I thought it might not happen but I guess good things come to those who wait.

“I knew if I kept myself correct something good would happen soon and I have been ticking over, keeping myself to myself and this has happened now and I’m over the moon.
“I got a key31268 feel for what it was to be a Rangers player, I felt like there was unfinished business from last year and I am hoping to put that right.”

Kent impressed at Ibrox last season, making 43 appearances and scoring six goals, but he promises to be even better this term.

“With Steven Gerrard as manager there is a lot of ambition that comes from him, he wants to win things.
